New 2009 highlight clip with Ken Block

I´ve made some highlight clips (2006 and 2007 among others) for Ken before and enjoyed it as well as shooting some of his driving. He´s opened up a lot of doors/eyes for rally in America. Mostly through his viral videos. Using a skate/snow marketing in an industry who wouldn´t know what Facebook is if it hit them in face hasn´t hurt his reputation. Some still argue that he´s not a good driver compared to the WRC people and yes sure Solberg might be a better rally driver but Ken has never claimed to be better than him.
If you know that WRC use a completely different race technique (with recce) compared to the American rally circuit you´d know better than comparing the two. And since Ken has friends / staff in the video / photo / video department and thinks along lines the other rally people don´t he´s created a great outlet for his ideas, online videos.. How you can hate on someone who drifts his car around an airport ate call him a bad driver caise the video is editing I have no idea. I do know that a lot of people are morons, and I guess that´s the answer.

Torsteins run from the Dew Tour yesterday.

He got like 5th or something yesterday with this run. It was a little sketchier but he had to go last and the light was horrible by then.
I´m not a fan of contests, especially when the fucking commentators can´t call the tricks. It´s so embarrassing, stupid tools.

Air & Style.

I used to go to this contest for years. I might have been to 6-7 of them? My first one was around 1996 I think.

It was always a good time to see my friends win a lot of money.

Today Marko Grilc won and I'm totally exited for him. Andreas Wiig got third place. I only caught the every end of the broadcast so I don't know what happened during the contest.
What I do know is that I wish David Benedek would have entered again and won with the trick he did a couple of years ago. Fs 1260 double dip.

Röyksopp in New York City!

The day started out on by the Pacific Ocean. In the afternoon I landed by the Atlantic Ocean. This went by way faster than Lewis and Clark got back.
Three hours after I got into the apartment in NYC I was 10 blocks away watching my favorite band, Röyksopp.
Considering I missed them in LA last Wednesday (due to one of the possibly worst cases of strep throat) I was very stoked.

If I hadn't Googled what was going on in the city I would have probably chillin on the bed, browsing the web, watching Californication.. If I would have realized that I missed Röyksopp again I would have almost jumped of a bridge, especially since they were playing 1.5 km away..

I went by myself, couldn´t find friends who would join me on such short notice.
So going by myself and sober wasn't really how I'd picture my next Röyksopp (saw them in Gothenburg/Sweden in August) concert, but better that than nothing. If I would have been drunk with friends I might have exploded with stoke.

Ever since I saw the video for 'Eple" I was hooked on this band. I used the "Remind Me" remix for a movie called "Lame" in 2003.
And ever since then they've been on most of my playlist.

The concert was sick. Small-ish venue with decent audio.
They played one unreleased song, but the rest were hits. I had high expectations on seeing Robyn come up on stage to sing like she did in LA last week, but no... the singer who sang all Robyn's and Karin's songs was Norwegian and she did a good job.

Instead of giving a full review of the concert I made this 11 minute clip of the concert.
So if you like Röyksopp and have 11 minutes to spare, here you go. Audio sucks and stuff.. but you get the idea.

In LA for Battle At The Berrics final!

Chris Cole, Torey Pudwill, P-Rod and Cory Kennedy will battle in two hours. Very exited.

I saw Alex battle Chris in 2006 and that game was so fucking sick.

If you haven´t lived under a rock you know that Kanye made a fool out of himself a few weeks age at the VMA´s.

While getting the douce bag award of the event he claimed Beyonce´s video to be one of the best ever. Little did he know that this kid would make it even better.
