How can 46% / 56.5 million vote for McCain?
That to me is hard to understand.
What about un-uniting the United States of America?
You take the west coast and the north east (even Illinois, Michigan etc) and make that into a new country and whoever doesn´t want their kids growing up in a solidaric society with good schools and health care can move to the bible belt.
Let the religious pro lifers, people without passports and greedy capitalists make their own country where they can bitch about a black person being president while they drive their gas hoggin trucks to the golf course.
If McCain would have won there would have been a civil war, or close to it. I keep thinking about what would have happened. Would Canada get invaded?
I haven´t lived in a country that´s this un-united. So whoever thinks "united we stand" has any relevance in America is dead wrong. 100.000.000 americans hate 100.000.000 other amercians and the last 1/3 are bystanders.
Things can only get better from now on.
cant you celebrate anything or do you have to be sarcastic and cynical about EVERYTHING?
ReplyDeletePierre,
ReplyDeleteThe key point of a democraty is to respect each other point of view. Even if I support Obama, I can not accept that those who did not vote Obama are stupids...
Otherwise, Pierre, you are not better thant the one you can not understand ;-)
PS : continue to make good movies
Charles From France !!!
didn't a greedy capatalist named ken block pay your bills for a while?
ReplyDeleteAnon - Ken is not a greedy capitalist.
ReplyDeleteLinds - I´m just boggled about what 48% of americans are thinking.
Charles - I can´t respect other views (like pro life, fascism, elitism etc) since I feel very deeply about those issues and how negative they are for mankind.
I´m not saying republicans are stupid. I just can´t relate.
It´s not about survival of the richest, it´s about living, for everyone.
if ken isn't a greedy capatalist how come he shoes aren't cheaper? he has enough money know, right?
ReplyDeleteAnon - I´m assuming you´re joking.
ReplyDeletePierre : this is not a question of respect. This is a question of Democraty.
