Saturday. Golfing and pics of the crib

I was up late working. You kind of know it´s time to go to sleep when the sun comes up...

Got my computer out of here this morning. Hopefully I´ll get a new one soon. That computer was not feeling good, so I´m working on my laptop as usual.

Just got done golfing / driving. I was decent. With 4 out of the 150 balls (yes even the golf buckets are big in the us) left
me and Jussi were trying to hit the trolley that picks up the golf balls. Jussi called out 100$ if i hit it, so I threw a ball on the ground, turned and aimed for it (the cart was maybe 110 meters away and the size of a bed) ... and boink I hit the roof, clean!
It was awesome. I was so focused and really aimed and got it. Not even Tiger could have done that on a moving target that´s a square meter in size. I was so stoked, even happier when I figured out there was 100$ involved. That takes care of rent for 1.5 days, haha.

Here´s a pic of Jussi, just after losing 100 bananas

I took some pics of my crib today too. Here´s where I live. Kom och hälsa på vettja

Found the camera

So I found the camera.., in the car. But it took a while, it´s a big car.

Here are some pics that should have been in the last post, but I´m too lazy to re edit the old posts, so here´s a new one.

This is Bobby, he´s funny. The day after this he went and did a high dive show at the LA Fair. He jumps from like 80 feet into a small pool. Pretty wild

Here´s a pic of what Bobby looks like when you play him in a videogame.

Me and Bobby with american ciders. I only drink cocktails and winecoolers if you didn´t know. I´m manly like that.

So as me and the boss were pulling out of the parking lot there was Travis! Random. Haven´t seen him in a while so it was a pleasant surprise. My boss had a baby girl too, like a few days ago, maybe I mentioned this... It´s awesome with all these babies poppin out.

Took a walk with the Oksanen´s today. First time I got to see the baby. The family was in great spirits. The baby was quiet. I like quiet babies.

This is the Oksanen´s new ride. It´s an awesome Volvo, great family car. Good buy. I like it.

This was me today, having the need to take a pic of myself for some reason.

I like a sunset. So nice. Wow.. haha. They´re ok.

Crayfish party in the OC

So I haven´t blogged for a while, sorry. Been doing other stuff and I can´t find my new camera + Hjalle lagged on sending his pictures.
I went up to LA / Manhattan Beach and hung out with Hjalle on friday. We ate nachos and went to Venice Beach to meet up with Bobby Meeks (ex pro boarder-turn Nike dude). We arrived around 23.00 I think. Bobby had been there for a while and had a good buzz. I ordered a Red Bull vodka to wake up a little, but they only served beer and wine! Yuck.. I don´t drink that stuff. But Bobby found a cider that was like white wine and apple juice, it was ok, not like scandinavian cider which is the bomb.
We hung out there until 0.30 or something and headed back to Hjalles, nothing special. Watched some snowboard videos and half an episode of LOST.
Sat we lagged but made it to the Santa Monica Mall to have some sweet food court food. Americans hate food court food, but I LOVE it. So tasty and affordable. No bullshit or tipping like a resturant. I had Mongolian Bbq and it was ok, but at least I only spent 7$.
Then Hjalle bought some rancid Crayfish (I hate shell fish so I was into the party from a social point of view) at some fancy fish market, I guess you couldn´t eat them, smelled horrible. The bag was like a reverse Wunderbaum tree in his car.
Travis Parker (pro boarder) who I randomly saw at the office parking lot a few days before took the train from Oceanside to LA to join us for the crayfish party. So we picked him up in a sketchy part of LA where I wouldn´t roam around too long after dark. It´s hard to explain how there´s a ghetto 200 meters from the nicest area. But that´s how it is here. So if you take a wrong exit from the freeway you could encounter some weirdos.
Before we headed down to Huntington Beach me and Travis went for a skate session in the sunset. It was really nice. Played add-a-trick and S-K-A-T-E which is like "kasta gris" in Sweden, but with skate tricks. Travis did a sweet smith stall to his surprise. As we got all sweaty we got in the car and drove down, just like any other girl would do after a work out, right?

The party was fun, some swedes and some americanos. This one lady was weird, and had her pants pulled up 20 cm above her belly button. But everyone else seemed nice.
For some reason I was really hungover the day after. I wasn´t even that drunk. But I guess that happens.

Since the weekend I´ve worked, done laundry, sunbathed, watched LOST (third season just started) and I´m not even a LOST fan. But I watched this recap online that was like 90 minutes, so now I´m up to speed.

I´m gonna try and find my camera, sucks if it´s lost, but I´m 95% sure that it´s in my car.

This is Travis and Hjalle eating nasty shell fish. I ate Taco Bell just before so I didn´t have to rely on nasty crayfish.

The girls who put it on, Anna, Keya and Kajsa did a good job. Totally swedish atmosphere, it was sweet. Sang "Helan går" and stuff.

There was a dude half naked in the bathroom at 3 in the moring. At 9 he had puke all over him. Lame.

This is me sleeping. I guess someone gave me a nametag and wrote POO on it. Like my name was POO.., funny?

This is me sleeping at the same Taco Bell in Huntington beach as I ate 12 hours before. But I was too hung over to eat. It was the first, and only, time I hope I didn´t finish Taco Bell food.

When I got home I ordered this 19$ pizza from Domino. It was the first time I had pizza delivered. I found out the day after when I drove by Domino´s that they had a pizza twice the size for 7$ to carry out. Now that´s a good deal.

La Jolla birthday party

So my friend Kale turned 29 and our mutual friend Jason Ford´s wife turned 30 (I´m almost there, yiiiakes)

Here´s a pic of Ford. Kind of spring break-ish?

Me with a sweet cocktail, tasty with a flower.

Cake

Amy and birthday boy.

Birthday girl and happy husband, not as spring break-ish here.

Billy said he´s shaving it of tomorrow. This is a real beard, impressive.

They had a skatepark gathering in my hometown of Piteå today too. I hope they had a blast. I was there in spirit.
Oh.. and I didn´t win the lottery... not even close. If I only had a timemachine... just one day back in time and I´d have a few millions...
On a positive note: Nate drove me past Taco Bell on the way home and bought me a taco supreme and nachos bell grande (no beans). Next time I´ll have the crunchwrap supreme! TASTY!

wednesday..

Nothing new. Ordered a wetsuit so maybe I´ll pick up surfing.., just in time for the water to get cold.

I got the G5 computer back. Hopefully it works now.., if it doesn´t it´s flying of my balcony.

Haven´t had Taco Bell in days.., oh I miss it.

I have nothing funny to say, nothing interesting... Maybe in a few days.

Gotta go check my lottery ticket...

random

Before I go to sleep I had the urge to post some random pictures. I just had to.

I like looking at this image.

Nice

Nice again

Why wouldn´t you want to take the escalator up 15 stairs when you´re going to the gym?

This is a sick pic of Torstein from Norway shot in NZ a week or so ago. I took this pic from www.twsnow.com

This is what I call paradise, maybe trade the car for a miniramp... I´d love to live on an lighthouse/island. At least for a few weeks here and there.

Wow

Even more reason why I don´t like Connecticut
